My Favorite Parenting Hacks

This one is for all of you parents out there. Who doesn't love genius short cuts for life with kids?! These simple yet effective parenting hacks are my all-time favorite!

Painting - You remember that time you were painting the fence and all your toddler wanted to do was help? Well, next time around, grab them a paint brush & bucket and let them paint with water! They will have a blast and hardly no mess for you to clean up!

Permanent Marker Mess? - Don't fret! When my kids get into the forbidden permanent markers, I can get it out with these tricks: Wood - Toothpaste!

Plastic - Dry Erase Marker!

Walls - Rubbing Alcohol -or- Nail Polish Remover!

Leather - Magic Eraser!

Bedtime Troubles - Is your little one scared of the monster in his closet? Maybe your daughter swears up and down that there is something under her bed? Grab yourself an old spray bottle and make some "Go Away Monster Spray!". Add water and either essential oils or a little bit of fabric softener and BAM - there you go! I also decorate the bottle and I make sure to put "Guaranteed to work!" so the kids know that it is legit ... haha! Spray it anywhere those pesky monsters hide!

Slamming Doors - No, I'm not really talking about the teenager who slams their door. I'm talking about the little kids who always seem to slam their poor little fingers in the door. My solution? A pool noodle (these things come in handy so much)!
