Super Easy St. Patrick's Day Craft Ideas

This post contains affiliate links.

St. Patrick's Day is right around the bend and I thought this would be a great time to bust out my favorite St. Paddy's Day crafts and activities and share them with all of you! I know you'll love these, and your kids will too...

If you haven't noticed by now, Pinterest is sort of an obsession for me. Most of my inspiration comes from others who have shared their ideas and creations... but I love adding my own flare and twist. When crafting next to the kids, they help tremendously with that (ha!).

With that being said, as always, I want to see your creations! Find me on Twitter and Facebook and be sure to show me what you guys made!

St. Patrick's Day Play-Dough

With simple ingredients that are normally in our kitchens, we can keep the kids busy for hours! I love this recipe (you can play around with the flour / water ratio if needed).

Pot O' Gold Treat Bags

I love this craft idea because there are so many ways you can change this up and personalize it! For the rainbow colors, you can use fruit flavored Twizzlers - OR- try skittles!

I found really adorable St. Patrick's Day cellophane bags at the local Dollar Tree ('...where everything's a dollar!') and twirled some green ribbon around to seal them up!

Shamrock Pipe-cleaner Craft

I found this on Pinterest (... of course!) and we are going to do this one here at our house!

This craft is super cute AND it helps with your child's fine motor skills! (If you don't have beads, try Cheerio's...)

Shamrock Templates

Here is a fantastic website that has various shamrock templates that you can use to make your own window decorations or to add to your crafts! [Thanks Enchanted Learning!]

Leprechaun Trap

While we were visiting the library last week, I came across "The Night Before St. Patricks Day" by Natasha Wing (Get it here: http://amzn.to/2GqqnZG ). It's a silly story that you can't help but read over and over again. Find the hiding leprechaun in each picture and then be sure to create your very own Leprechaun Trap!

Now, there are some really neat ideas floating around on Pinterest - so be sure to check these out for some inspiration!
