Crayola Melt'n Mold Factory : Review

It's early in the morning and I'm already hearing... "Mom! I'm so bored!". So, what do I do? Obviously, I head to the craft closet and bust out this bad boy...

(I'll jump right in it and let you know that this machine is SO COOL)

This is not a paid or sponsored promotional post, this is a personal review!

Make awesome swirly, colorful creations using your old crayons with this AMAZING machine: Crayola's Melt'n Mold Factory! ---> Buy yours here: http://amzn.to/2GA5Xht <---

This was super easy to set up - Crayola did a fantastic job at making sure this was kid friendly. You literally un-box everything, plug in the machine, snap together some pieces, and you are all set! The molds are easy to take apart and put back together too!

I asked my daughter's teacher if we could take home the

broken crayon pieces that the class has accumulated throughout the year so far... (we made custom crayon rings for all of the kids as a 'thank you').

BEFORE YOU BEGIN:

it takes approximately 20-25 minutes for the crayons to fully melt, so be prepared to wait a little bit!

You can purchase different molds here: http://amzn.to/2GyZ8gl

This is practically a mess-free project, which is another bonus! The melted wax is easily removed from the mold and the melting tray (we used a plastic knife to scrape away anything left over on the melting tray). I will admit, the timer was a bit off. Pay attention to the red light that indicates when to dump the wax! TIP: Easy way to remove the crayon paper: soak them in warm water for a few minutes & the paper comes right off!

A glimpse at our finished products!

We ended up making 36 rings and a handful of new crayons! Phew.
